The activities of the Tripartite Coordination Mechanism for the search for missing persons were discussed at the meeting between Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia, Akhsar Dzhioev, and the ICRC Envoy for Missing Persons in the Caucasus, Agnes Cotu, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reports.
“The meeting was attended by First Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Tskhovrebov, acting. Plenipotentiary Representative of President of South Ossetia fot post-conflict settlement issues Egor Kochiev, Commissioner for Human Rights under the President of the Republic Inal Tasoev,” the press service has noted.
The employee of the protection department, Nana Tedeeva, took part in the meeting on behalf of the ICRC.
