Chairman of the National Bank of South Ossetia Soslan Bekoev and Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Russia discussed bilateral cooperation in the banking sector. This was reported by the Telegram channel of the National Bank.
"During the telephone conversation, the parties outlined a plan of activities to support and develop the banking system of South Ossetia," the report says.
The parties also agreed to hold a meeting in Moscow in the near future.
The press service added that the cooperation between the National Bank of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Bank of Russia, according to the parties, "should have a positive impact on the socio-economic development of the Republic."
