The South Ossetian Foreign Ministry and the Abkhazian Foreign Ministry signed a joint Consultation Plan. Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev reported this to President Alan Gagloev during the meeting dedicated to the results of the South Ossetian delegation's visit to Abkhazia on the occasion of the 16th anniversary of Russia's recognition of independence.
The meeting also discussed the activities of the Foreign Ministry, including its foreign missions.
The head of state gave a number of instructions to intensify the work on the foreign policy agenda. The parties paid special attention to improving relations with Russia through the Foreign Ministry.
