South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev has presented state awards to the Russian doctors who arrived in Tskhinval to participate in the II International Medical Conference "Practical Aspects of Healthcare Development". This was reported by the press service of the head of state.
The leader of the Republic, addressing the guests, thanked them for visiting South Ossetia as part of such a significant event for the healthcare sector and their readiness to provide any assistance required by the Ossetian people.
"These days we are holding the II International Medical Conference. I would like to thank you for participating in this event and for your immeasurable contribution to the development of healthcare. In any state, priority attention is given to issues of public health. I know that our citizens are receiving treatment in many medical institutions of the Russian Federation, they always feel your support," Alan Gagloev said.
He has also noted that they will always be welcomed in South Ossetia and are ready to give them the warmest welcome.
“As you know, the Ossetian people have always been famous for their hospitality. We are always glad to see our guests. A working trip is one thing, but now I would like to ask everyone to come to South Ossetia next time to fully see the beauty of our picturesque state. We will always be glad to see you,” the President has emphasized.
In turn, the Russian scientist, oncologist surgeon Andrei Kaprin, on behalf of those present, thanked Alan Gagloev for the hospitality and expressed readiness for further cooperation.
“We are ready to help. People of Ossetia are waiting for this help from us, and when they are waiting for help, it is impossible not to provide it. Thank you so much for such a warm welcome. South Ossetia -this is people, history and nature, man-made creations that you cherish. Prosperity to your beautiful country,” he said.
In accordance with the decree of the President, for their contribution to strengthening cooperation between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation and providing support for the development of the healthcare system, the participants of the II International Medical Conference were awarded medals "In Commemoration of the 15th Anniversary of the Victory in the Patriotic War of the People of South Ossetia".
The guests were also presented with memorable gifts.
