Director of the museum complex of the South Ossetian State University Fatima Kasaeva, leading specialist of the museum complex Inna Bitieva and junior researcher of the museum complex Anna Medoeva are taking part in the cultural and educational program "Museum Practices: from Storage to Involvement" in St. Petersburg, the press service of the University reports.
"From September 30 to October 5, the participants will have a rich and relevant program in its significance in the work of modern museums.
Representatives of six countries have gathered for a unique project in its significance: Belarus, South Ossetia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan.
34 employees of 21 museums of these countries will share their experience as part of the cultural and educational program," the press service has noted.
The events outlined in the project “Museum Practices: From Storage to Engagement” will be held at the platforms of six St. Petersburg museums.
The project participants were selected on the basis of a competition. As part of the project, they will have master classes, lectures, and will meet with the experts and museum staff.
The project was organized by the St. Petersburg City Committee for External Relations in cooperation with Rossotrudnichestvo.
