On Tuesday, the South Ossetian authorities expelled the Georgian citizen from the Republic who had previously violated the state border, the press service of the State Security Committee reported.

It is noted that South Ossetian border guards detained the border violator in September of this year in the vicinity of the village of Otreu in Tskhinval district

"On September 17, 2024, for illegally crossing the state border of the Republic of South Ossetia, the South Ossetian border guards detained the Georgian citizen Pakauri Pridon Pridonovich, born in 1992, a resident of the village of Plavismani in the Gori municipality," the message reads.

It was established that a citizen Pakauri had intentionally violated the South Ossetian-Georgian border.

The KGB has added that on October 15, Pakauri was handed over to the Georgian authorities in accordance with Article 14 of the Law of the Republic of South Ossetia "On the State Border".
