The performance on the stage of the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow as part of the Ossetian Culture Days united the Ossetian and Russian cultures, Vadim Sanakoev, acting director of the Simd State Song and Dance Group, told reporters.

“It was honor for the Group to perform on the stage of the historic Bolshoi Theater. This is a great responsibility for each artist, the hall was overcrowded,” he has noted.

Sanakoev expressed the words of gratitude to the leadership of the Republic, represented by President Alan Gagloev, for financial assistance in organizing the trip.

“There were representatives of the south and north of Ossetia in the hall, we could not perform poorly. This event brought closer relations between the two fraternal groups – “Simd” and “Alan”. This had a great influence on the groups of Ossetia and Russia,” the acting director of the state group has noted.

A concert of masters of arts of North and South Ossetia, dedicated to the celebration of the 250th anniversary of Ossetia's accession to Russia and the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, was being held in the capital of the Russian Federation from October 9 to 15.
