The delegation of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation will take part in the observation of the presidential elections in South Ossetia

Russian senators will take part in monitoring the presidential elections in South Ossetia scheduled for April 10. This was reported on Thursday by the press service of the Federation Council.

"In the period from April 8 to 11, senators of the Russian Federation will be taking part in monitoring the presidential elections in the Republic of South Ossetia. The delegation will be headed by Sergei Tsekov, a member of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs," the report says.

A press conference was held in the capital of the Republic with the participation of the head of the Committee for Information and Press of South Ossetia, Maria Kotaeva, dedicated to the election campaign and its coverage in the media.

Members of the Russian Central Election Commission Anton Lopatin and Konstantin Mazurevsky will take part in the international observation of the presidential elections in South Ossetia next Sunday. This was reported by the press service of the CEC of the Russian Federation on Thursday.
