The State Security Committee of South Ossetia has initiated criminal cases against the state border violators - two Georgian citizens, the department's press service reports.

“On November 24, 2023, for illegally crossing the state border of the Republic of South Ossetia, employees of the South Ossetian border authorities detained the Georgian citizens Meladze Georgiy Semenovich, born in 1988 and Korinteli Dito Elgudzhaevich, born in 1994, residents of the village of Adzvi, Gori municipality,” - the KGB report reads.

President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev arrived in the zone of the special military operation, where he met with fighters of Ossetian units.

This was reported by the Presidential Press Secretary Natalya Bosikova.

During the meeting, the President handed over six Niva vehicles and a UAZ vehicle to the fighters to carry out combat missions. The guys were in dire need of vehicles,” Bosikova said.
