Delegates from South Ossetia took part in the X regional conference of Russian compatriots from near abroad countries in Bishkek. Deputy Chairman of the Coordination Council of the Organization of Russian Compatriots (KSORS) in the Republic, Svetlana Kotaeva, told IA “Res” about this.

The conference brought together representatives of the KSORS from 12 countries. Together with Kotaeva, South Ossetia was represented at the event by a member of the public organization of Russian compatriots “Union of Russian Citizens” Zhanetta Gagieva.

The delegation of the Parliament of South Ossetia will take part in the IV International Conference “The role of interaction between factions of political parties and blocs in inter-parliamentary cooperation of the CIS countries.”

The conference will take place on December 12, 2023 in the State Duma of the Russian Federation in Moscow.

The delegation of the Parliament of the Republic will include representatives of different factions, the press service of the executive body reports.

The team of the Hero of the USSR Konstantin Kochiev Tskhinval School No. 2 has become a diploma winner of the III international competition “The Best Russian School Abroad”. This was reported by the telegram channel of the Russian House in Tskhinval.

The organization has clarified that the director Olga Mikhailidi received the well-deserved award at the ceremony in Moscow.

Historical memory, Russian language and culture are the foundations of the identity of the Russian Diaspora in European countries - under such auspices the XVI Regional Conference of Russian compatriots of the European countries was held in Belgrade. Chairman and moderator of the conference was the Plenipotentiary Representative of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia in the Benelux countries, Radion Pukhaev, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of the Republic reports.
