In South Ossetia, on Saturday, a volunteer Artur Khachirov, perished in the course of combat missions in the zone of Russia's special military operation in Ukraine, was escorted on his last journey.

Arthur was 33 years old. He is survived by five children.

Condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased were expressed by President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev, Chairman of the Parliament of the Republic Alan Alborov, the MPs, the Defense Minister of the Republic of South Ossetia Marat Pavlov and other heads of the ministries and departments.

President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev, together with the head of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania Sergey Menyailo, the heads of the parliaments of South and North Ossetia Alan Alborov and Taimuraz Tuskaev, deputies and members of the governments of the two republics will lay wreaths and flowers at the City of Angels memorial complex in Beslan.

A commemorative action in memory of the victims of the Beslan tragedy will take place on Sunday, at 12.30, on Cathedral Square near the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the capital of South Ossetia, the Presidential Executive Office told IA "Res".

Pupils of schools, teachers, as well as representatives of the leadership of the Republic will take part in the mourning action. Children annually bring drinking water to the memorial, which was so lacking during the terrible September days, and soft toys. 334 balloons will traditionally be released into the sky.
