Entrepreneurs from the Chelyabinsk region, who recently arrived in South Ossetia on a working visit, visited the Ir-Basalt basalt fiber production plant the day before.

Director of the enterprise, Roman Dzhioev, told in detail about the plant’s products, the volume of material produced, showed the guests the process of its production, and also shared the plans for the further development of the enterprise.

Dzhioev has noted that basalt fiber consists of 83% natural stone, and 12% from a special mixture for manufacturing.

At the next round of Geneva discussions, the South Ossetian delegation stated the need to significantly intensify еру work to clarify the fate of the missing and called on the Georgian party to take practical steps to solve this problem. This was reported by the press service of the South Ossetian Foreign Ministry.

On June 25-26, 2024, the 61st round of International Discussions on Security and Stability in Transcaucasia, held in accordance with the Medvedev-Sarkozy agreements of August 12 and September 8, 2008, took place in Geneva.

Representatives of the South Ossetian media, led by Chairman of the Information and Press Committee Maria Kotaeva, are taking part in the second round of the educational project “SputnikPro on Zubovsky” in Moscow, reports “Yuogu-TV”.

“Journalists from South Ossetia, Abkhazia, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Belarus, and Kazakhstan are taking part in master classes on the basis of the international media group “Russia Today”. They are conducted by the leading experts in the field of media journalism, photographers, bloggers,” the press service has noted.
