Commissioner for Children's Rights under President of South Ossetia, Aelita Dzhioeva, and representatives of the youth wing of the Nykhas party visited the Republican Children's Hospital and congratulated the young patients on Children's Day.

The children received fruits and sweets as gifts.

The organizers of the action also congratulated the young guest from the DPR, Maxim, who is in Tskhinval, on the holiday. The boy was given a toy car and sweets.

The Children's Ombudsman of the Republic also visited a juvenile offender in places of detention.

On Saturday, Ambassador of South Ossetia to Russia, Znaur Gassiev, laid flowers at the monument to the victims of the Beslan tragedy on the square in front of the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Kulishki (Alan Compound) in Moscow, the press service of the diplomatic department of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation reports.

A colorful show with a concert program, competitions and various entertainment events for young residents of the Republic was organized on the Theater Square of Tskhinval on Saturday - Children's Day.

The holiday was opened by the choreographic group under the administration of the city of Tskhinval “Iron”, performing the dance “Simd”.

On behalf of President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev, Children's Ombudsman Aelita Dzhioeva congratulated the heroes of the occasion.
