On the sidelines of SPIEF, Dzhussoev discussed establishing cooperation with the heads of Russian regions

Chairman of the Government of South Ossetia Konstantin Dzhussoev and members of the Republic’s delegation within the framework of SPIEF 2024 met with the heads of government authorities of the regions of Russia and got acquainted with the expositions presented at the Forum. This was reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of South Ossetia.

In particular, as reported, Konstantin Dzhussoev discussed issues of establishing cooperation with the Governor of the Moscow Region Andrei Vorobyov and the Governor of the Astrakhan Region Igor Babushkin.

Pushkin unites: on the Day of the Russian Language, the memory of the great poet was honored in Tskhinval

A solemn event dedicated to the International Russian Language Day and the 225th anniversary of the poet’s birth was held in Tskhinval, at the monument to the Great Russian writer Alexander Pushkin.

The event brought together representatives of the public, teachers of Russian studies, as well as schoolchildren and students. Excerpts from the poems and fairy tales of the Great poet were being heard, creating an atmosphere of sublimity and inspiration.

South Ossetian Ambassador Znaur Gassiev has become a member of the Russian Historical Society

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of South Ossetia Znaur Gassiev has been accepted into the ranks of the Russian Historical Society (RIO), the press service of the diplomatic mission reports.

It was noted here that Gassiev took part in the general meeting of RIO in St. Petersburg at the invitation of the Chairman of the Society, Sergei Naryshkin.

Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation Sergei Naryshkin was re-elected to the post of Chairman of the RIO for another three years.

South Ossetia and the Ulyanovsk Region agreed to cooperate in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres

The cooperation agreement in trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural and humanitarian fields was signed between the governments of South Ossetia and the Ulyanovsk Region.

For the South Ossetian part, the document on the sidelines of SPIEF - 2024 was signed by Chairman of the Government Konstantin Dzhussoev, for the Russian part – by Governor of the Ulyanovsk Region Alexey Russkikh.

“Reading the blockade book”: young compatriots worthily represented South Ossetia at the Forum in St. Petersburg

Representatives of South Ossetia took part in the VII educational program for young compatriots “Reading the blockade Book” in St. Petersburg.

The laureates of the competition of the Russian House in Tskhinval “Leningrad - Memory of Generations” were delegated to the Forum.

The South Ossetian delegation laid flowers at the monument to the “Children of Beslan” in St. Petersburg

The South Ossetian delegation led by Chairman of the Government of the Republic Konstantin Dzhussoev, together with the head of North Ossetia Sergei Menyailo and other delegates of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, paid tribute to the memory of the victims of the Beslan tragedy, the press service of the executive body of the Republic of South Ossetia reports.

“Participants in the ceremony laid flowers at the monument to the “Children of Beslan” and lit candles in the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary,” the statement of the press service reads.
