Children's choreographic groups of South Ossetia will hold a charity concert in support of children affected by the earthquake in Syria, the press service of the Ministry of Culture reports.
The event is held at the initiative of the Ministry of Culture at the Chermen State Cinema and Concert Hall in Tskhinval on February 22, the concert starts at 17.00.
A meeting of schoolchildren with veterans of the Afghan war will be organized at the National Museum of South Ossetia. The event will be held as part of the celebration of the Defender of the Fatherland Day, Ministry of Culture of the Republic told IA “Res”.
The event will be held on February 23 at 11:00 am, the Ministry noted.
On the eve of the holiday date, the events will also be held in the libraries of Tskhinval.

A collection point for humanitarian aid for residents of Syria and Turkey affected by the devastating earthquake has opened in Tskhinval.
