The issue of introducing international peacekeepers to South Ossetia was closed after the 2008 aggression, when the troops of the-then Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili shot and killed soldiers of the peacekeeping contingent stationed in South Ossetia, Foreign Minister Dmitry Medoev told RIA Novosti.
