The head of the South Ossetian Foreign Ministry, Akhsar Dzhioev, sent a note to Minister of Foreign Affairs and Compatriots of the Syrian Arab Republic, Bassam Sabbagh, in connection with the Israeli air strike on residential areas of the Mazzeh and Qudsey districts of Damascus, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reports.
The tragedy resulted in casualties among the civilian population, as well as the destruction of civilian infrastructure.
“Akhsar Dzhioyev expressed his sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to the wounded,” the Foreign Ministry has noted.
