The head of the veterinary department of Ministry of Agriculture of South Ossetia, Atsamaz Tedeev, took part online in the international scientific and practical conference in Krasnodar, dedicated to the fiftieth anniversary of the faculty of veterinary medicine of the Kuban State Agrarian University.
As Atsamaz Tedeev told IA “Res”, the event had brought together representatives of veterinary services from different regions of Russia, and representatives of veterinary services from South Ossetia, Abkhazia and Belarus had taken part online in the conference.
“During the event, teachers of the faculty of veterinary medicine analyzed key aspects of the epizootic situation as the element of food security and the influence of opportunistic and pathogenic micro flora on inflammatory processes in animals. Particular attention was paid to research aimed at improving the quality of veterinary services and increasing the efficiency of animal husbandry,” Tedeev said.
Tedeev has noted that during the conference, the participants spoke about the importance of veterinary medicine for ensuring food security, as well as about the current problems facing this area.
