The third crew of the Ministry of Defense of South Ossetia is at the start of the "Tank Biathlon" competition of the International Army Games 2021 in Alabino near Moscow, the press service of the Defense Ministry of the Republic of South Ossetia reports.

The team from South Ossetia will compete in the individual race at about 13.30.

“Among our team are the gunner-operator of the Guard Senior Lieutenant Alexei Mamiev, the tank commander of the Guard Senior Lieutenant Vadim Dudayev, the mechanic-driver of the Guard Sergeant Denis Kokoev,” the press service said.

“Until 2008, South Ossetia was almost completely unrecognized state, except for the recognition of us by fraternal Abkhazia, Nagorno-Karabakh, the Transnistrian Moldavian Republic.
