The team of the Ministry of Defense of South Ossetia, which includes the servicemen of the Special Forces Battalion, arrived in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic to participate in the competition of the International Army Games - 2021 "The Elbrus Ring".

According to the press service of the Defense Ministry, the South Ossetian servicemen will perform in the international stage of the competition among the teams not in full strength and will perform only one of a number of special tasks “High-speed race along the route Azau glade (2356 meters) - Elbrus summit (5642 M) ".

Arrivals of the crews of the South Ossetian Ministry of Defense team at the Tank Biathlon competition of the International Army Games-2021 will start on August 24.

According to the press service of the Defense Ministry, at the initial stage, South Ossetian tankers will perform in an individual race: the first crew on the 24th at 11:00, the second and third on the 26th and 28th, respectively. The semi-final and final relay races will start on August 31st.
