The agreement between South Ossetia and Russia on the settlement of issues of dual citizenship will begin after the exchange of instruments of ratification and the determination of the procedure for granting dual citizenship, - said Zita Besaeva, deputy of the RSO Parliament during the Tskhinval-Sukhum video bridge held at the Sputnik-South Ossetia site.

She has remnded that the agreement between South Ossetia and Russia on dual citizenship was concluded in 2021, but the instruments of ratification have not yet been exchanged.

The main achievements of South Ossetia over 15 years of peace include the restoration of infrastructure, healthcare facilities, education, and much more, political scientist Yury Vazagov noted during the Tskhinval-Sukhum video bridge held at the Sputnik South Ossetia site.

President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev presented state awards to Ruslan Gusarov, the author of the film "Power", and Vadim Goncharov, ex-producer and cameraman of the North Caucasus NTV Center.

On Wednesday evening, the State Drama Theater hosted a screening of the film "Power" as part of the International Forum "South Ossetia. 15 years of recognition of the independence of the Republic by the Russian Federation”, which was being held in Tskhinval from 15 to 16 August.
