Chairman of the Government of South Ossetia Konstantin Dzhussoev instructed Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev to work out the issue of the trip of South Ossetian creative teams to Turkey.

According to the press service of the executive body, the Prime Minister announced the corresponding instruction during the meeting with the Plenipotentiary of the Republic in Turkey Burkhan Khosity and the representative of the national-cultural society of Ossetians "Alan" in Turkey Khayri Khusaty with the participation of the Foreign Minister of the Republic of South Ossetia.

First Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Rashid Nurgaliyev met in Moscow with President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev, the press service of the Security Council Office reports.

"A wide range of the Russian-South Ossetian cooperation in various fields was discussed. An exchange of views has also taken place on the problems of regional stability," the report says.

South Ossetia has never changed its historical choice and is ready to develop integration with Russia up to joining the Russian Federation. This was stated by President of the Republic Alan Gagloev at the joint meeting with President of Abkhazia Aslan Bzhaniya in Gorki with Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.

President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev awarded the highest state award - the Order of "Uatsamonga" to Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev "for outstanding services in repelling Georgia's aggression", as well as his personal contribution to affirmation of the independence of the Republic.

August 26 South Ossetia will be marking the 15th anniversary of the recognition of the Republic's independence by Russia.

A delegation of the Federation Council of Russia will fly from Moscow to South Ossetia on Thursday to take part in the festive events in Tskhinval on August 26, said Grigory Karasin, Chairman of the International Affairs Committee.

He has stressed that the events of August 2008 are memorable - they are well remembered.

On Friday, a meeting was held in Moscow between President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev and Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, the Presidential Executive Office of South Ossetia reports.

Medvedev congratulated the head and people of the South Ossetian state on the upcoming holiday - the 15th anniversary of the recognition of the RSO by the Russian Federation and wished prosperity and success.
