The Defense Minister of South Ossetia is taking part in the XI Moscow Conference on International Security

Defense Minister of South Ossetia Marat Pavlov took part in the opening ceremony of the XI Moscow Convention on International Security "Realities of global security in a multipolar world", the press service of the department reports.

Marat Pavlov is heading the delegation of the South Ossetian Defense Ministry, invited to the international military-technical Forum "Army-2023", within the framework of which the conference is being held.

Alan Gagloev expressed condolences to Sergei Melikov in connection with the tragedy in Makhachkala

President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev sent a telegram of condolences to the head of the Republic of Dagestan, Sergei Melikov, in connection with the tragedy in Makhachkala, the press service of the head of state reports.

On Monday night, in the capital of Dagestan there was an explosion near the gas station "Nafta-24". The victims of the tragedy have become 35 people, including three children; more than a hundred people were injured.

The KGB has identified three citizens of South Ossetia in contact with the special services of the hostile state

In 2023, the State Security Committee of South Ossetia has identified three citizens of the Republic who maintained stable contacts with representatives of special agencies of the hostile foreign state and on whose instructions they were collecting and transmitting the information regarding the situation in South Ossetia. This was reported by the press service of the KGB.

As noted by the department, as part of their subversive activities, representatives of foreign intelligence services used blackmail and intimidation to persuade residents of South Ossetia to cooperate.
