A citizen of Georgia violated the border of South Ossetia was released home without penalties, the press service of the KGB of the Republic of South Ossetia reports.

“On August 31, 2024, for illegally crossing the state border of the Republic of South Ossetia in the vicinity of the settlement of Amdzarin in Leningor district, the border guards of the South Ossetian border authorities detained a citizen of Georgia, Badzagua Ani Mamukaevna, born in 2006,” the department has noted.

A meeting was held at the South Ossetian consular agency in Vladikavkaz between the head of the Tskhinval administration, Romeo Khugaev, and the mayor of Gradara (Italian Republic), Filippo Gasperi, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of South Ossetia reports.

Gasperi arrived in the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania as part of a delegation to participate in the memorial events in connection with the 20th anniversary of the tragedy in Beslan.
