The action in Tskhinval was dedicated to the memory of the victims of the terrorist attack in Beslan

A memorial event was held on the Cathedral Square in Tskhinval on the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attack in Beslan.

A flower-laying ceremony was held at the "Grieving Angel" monument in front of the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Tuesday, and those present honored the memory of the victims with a minute of silence.

As per tradition, the participants in the event launched 334 white balloons into the sky, representing the number of those killed in the terrorist attack in Beslan.

Moscow honored the memory of the Beslan tragedy victims

The Embassy of South Ossetia in Russia took part in the mourning events dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Beslan tragedy in Moscow, the press service of the diplomatic department reports.

“At 13:05 at the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Kulishki (Alanskoye Podvorye), in front of the monument to the victims of the terrorist attack in Beslan, those present honored the memory of the victims with a minute of silence, after which a wreath was laid at the monument,” the press service said.

South Ossetia honored the memory of the heroes who had defended peace on the Transnistrian land

The head of the official representative office of South Ossetia in Transnistria, Vitaly Yankovsky, took part in the ceremony of laying flowers at the Tiraspol Memorial of Glory, the press service of the representative office reports.

The ceremony took place as part of the events dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the formation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
