The issue of benefit programs for participants in the Russian special military operation from South Ossetia is very relevant and the work on it is underway, Alimbeg Siukaev, Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Defense and Security, said during the Moscow-Tskhinval video conference dedicated to the 16th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance between Russia and South Ossetia.

He has also noted that the number of participants in the special operation from South Ossetia has approached 2,000 people.

The Chechen people have achieved lasting peace and ensured sustainable economic development as well as increase in the standard of living of the population, President of the South Alan Gagloev has noted in his congratulatory address to the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov in connection with the Day of the Chechen Republic.

In August, 31 violators of the legal regimes established on the state border of South Ossetia were detained at various sections of the state border, including 8 violators of the state border regime and 23 violators of the border regime, the press service of the Republic reports.

The delegation from South Ossetia is taking part in the events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the rescue service of the Republic of Dagestan. This was reported by the press service of the Republic's emergency department.

The South Ossetian delegation is headed by the head of the search and rescue team Alan Chekhoev.

As added by the department, the rescuers from the Republic of Abkhazia are also taking part in the festive events.

The South Ossetian Foreign Ministry and the Abkhazian Foreign Ministry signed a joint Consultation Plan. Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev reported this to President Alan Gagloev during the meeting dedicated to the results of the South Ossetian delegation's visit to Abkhazia on the occasion of the 16th anniversary of Russia's recognition of independence.

The meeting also discussed the activities of the Foreign Ministry, including its foreign missions.
