Bibilov: the US pressure prevents Georgia from signing a Memorandum on the non-use of force

President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov called the external influence on Georgia the reason for Tbilisi's refusal to sign with South Ossetia and Abkhazia a memorandum on the non-use of force.
"Georgia may not be against signing a memorandum on the non-use of force, but the United States prevents them to do it.
Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Grigory Karasin has emphasized that not the Georgian leadership, but Washington decides the issues of relations with South Ossetia," - Anatoly Bibilov said.

Bibilov discussed bilateral cooperation with the head of the Presidential Executive Office

President of the Republic of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov met with the head of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation Anton Vaino.
As reported by the press service of the head of state, issues of bilateral cooperation were touched upon during the meeting, including those discussed during the meeting of presidents Anatoly Bibilov and Vladimir Putin in November 2017.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia Znaur Gassiev.

The authorities of South Ossetia have promised a reward for information about missing persons

The issues of searching for missing citizens of South Ossetia were discussed by the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy of the RSO on post-conflict settlement issues Murat Dzhioev and the independent expert Dushan Ignatovich who, at the invitation of the OSCE, is investigating the case of the citizens of South Ossetia to be listed missing after the 2008 August war.

Dmitry Medoev discussed cooperation with Sarkozy's adviser

South Ossetian Foreign Minister Dmitry Medoev discussed cooperation with the Сhairman of the International Association "Friends of the Crimea" Jean-Pierre Thomas, with whom the head of the Republic's Foreign Ministry met during his working trip to Paris.

Students from South Ossetia will train at the Paris Conservatory

The possibility of training representatives of South Ossetia at the Parisian Russian Conservatory named after Sergei Rachmaninov is being studied, said the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the RSO Dmitry Medoev at a briefing in Tskhinval.
