The Ossetian and Abkhazian representatives have repeatedly stated that the politicization of the refugee problem by Georgia undermines the work on this issue in the framework of the Geneva discussions, according to the comments of the South Ossetian delegation in the Geneva international discussions in connection with the adoption by the UN General Assembly of a resolution on the situation of internally displaced persons and refugees from South Ossetia and Abkhazia.

The delegation of the Parliament of South Ossetia, headed by First Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Body Peter Gassiev, met with the Chairman of the "Fair Russia-For Truth" party, the head of the faction in the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Sergei Mironov.

According to the press service of the Parliament of South Ossetia, the delegation of South Ossetia has also included Deputy Speakers of the Parliament Alexander Pliev and Vladimir Kelekhsaev, MP Alan Tadtaev.

President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev met with Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Vitaly Savelyev, the press service of the head of state reports.

During the visit, was signed a cooperation agreement between the Samara and South Ossetian universities.

The Embassy of South Ossetia in Russia signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Russian Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography", the press service of the Embassy reports.

The document was signed on Thursday in St. Petersburg at the ground of the International Economic Forum.
