The next round of the consultations on security in Transcaucasia with the participation of representatives of South Ossetia and Abkhazia, Georgia, Russia, USA, as well as UN, OSCE and EU will start today in Geneva; it will be held for two days – June7 - 8.
The position of the Western countries on the situation in the South Caucasus will not change in the near future.
This was stated by a Vice-Speaker of the Parliament of South Ossetia Mira Tskhovrebova, commenting on the U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during her visit to Georgia.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia is deeply concerned about the statement of the U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, made at a briefing in Batumi on June 5, on "recognition of the so-called neutral passports to residents of South Ossetia and Abkhazia."
Taking into accountthe U.S. role in supporting the Georgian chauvinist regime, there are not many people in South Ossetia who want to get the so-called ''neutral'' passports of Georgia.
This has been reported to IA "Res" by the Chairman of the Committee on Legislation, Law and Local Self-Government of the Parliament of South Ossetia Amiran Diaconov, commenting on the U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during her visit to Georgia.
"If all the roads to the U.S are opened for the owners of these documents, I doubt that we `ll find a lot of people who `ll have a desire to get them", - said the deputy.
In July the South Ossetian boxer Atsamaz Dzigoev will perform in the forthcoming boxing championship of Russia among young people. This has been reported to IA "Res" by the coach of the athlete Murat Kokoev.
The South Ossetian delegation left for Geneva to attend the next round of discussions on security in Transcaucasia. As reported to IA "Res" by the head of the delegation Boris Chochiev, the delegation has included Foreign Minister David Sanakoev, presidential envoy to post-conflict settlement Murat Dzhioev and others.
The grand opening of a new Embassy complex of the Russian Federation in South Ossetia has taken place in Tskhinval. The ceremony was attended by the RSO President Leonid Tibilov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in the Republic of South Ossetia Elbrus Kargiev, head of North Ossetia Taimuraz Mamsurov, the delegation of the Russian Foreign Ministry, representatives of the presidential administration and government of South Ossetia, the Russian embassy staff.
The main topic of the next round of the Geneva discussions on security in Transcaucasia remains the developing a document on the nonuse of force in the region.

"The agenda is still the same - to discuss security issues of South Ossetia and Abkhazia, as well as the humanitarian issues," - said Chochiev.
Today a new complex of the Russian Embassy in the Republic of South Ossetia will be opened in Tskhinval. As IA "Res" has been reported, an official reception will be held in the Russian Embassy on this occasion.
"Today's event has two meanings. The first - a reception for celebrating the Day of Russia on June 12, and the second - the opening of the Russian Embassy building,"- has been said at the embassy.
South Ossetian fighters Atsamaz Dzigoev and Radion Kumaritov have become the winners of the public and state athletics and sports association championship "Youth of Russia", held in Karachaevo-Cherkessia among athletes born 1994-1995.
