The position of the Russian leadership is principled, we will continue to restore and develop South Ossetia. This was declared by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia - Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the North Caucasus Federal District, co-chairman of the Russian party of the Intergovernmental Commission on socio-economic cooperation between Russia and South Ossetia Alexander Khloponin in the course of the working meeting with the President of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov, held today in Tskhinval.

Russian delegation led by Vice-Premier - Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the North Caucasus Federal District, co-chairman of the Russian party of the Intergovernmental Commission (IGC) on socio-economic cooperation between Russia and South Ossetia Alexander Khloponin has arrived in South Ossetia to take part in the seventh plenary session of the Intergovernmental Commission to be held today in Tskhinval.

South Ossetia will be visited by the Russian delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation - the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy of the Russian Federation to the North Caucasus Federal District, co-chairman of the Russian part of the Intergovernmental Committee Alexander Khloponin.

"Formerly, a lot of villagers along the both sides of the South Ossetian-Georgian border irrigated their land lots by Tiriponsky canal. Water was coming there from the water intake located in Tskhinval, and then was passing through the territory of Georgia, but for some reason was not reaching Tsinagar area of South Ossetia, "- said Gagloyty.

A meeting of the of Mechanisms on Prevention and Reaction to Incident(MPRI) has started in the Georgian village of Ergneti at the border with South Ossetia .
At the beginning of the meeting the attendees were welcomed by the head of the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) in Georgia Andrzej Tyszkiewicz and the OSCE co-chair Andriy Deschitsa.
Deschitsa has said that at the last round of the Geneva talks, held at the end of March, was noted the efficiency of the MPRI meetings.

The 33rd meeting in the format of Mechanisms on Prevention and Reaction to Incidents (MPRI) will be held today in the Georgian village of Ergneti at the border between South Ossetia and Georgia.
As the news agency "Res" was informed at the office of the presidential envoy for post-conflict settlement, "the meeting will cover the issues of security in the areas adjacent to the state border of South Ossetia and Georgia.
