As IA "Res" has been informed at the CEC of South Ossetia, Yuri Dzitstsoity passed the exam successfully, and members of the linguistic commission gave him a pass.
The Central Election Committee of South Ossetia has registered two action groups, nominating Anatoly Dzhioev and former Deputy Speaker Sergei Pliev as the candidates for president of South Ossetia. As IA "Res" has been informed at the CEC of South Ossetia, the authorized representatives of the party "Raestag IR" (Fair Ossetia), nominating the former head of Dzausky district administration of South Ossetia Pavel Kumaritov, were issued a certificate of registration. Deadline for applications from the action groups and political parties is February 9. The action teams supporting Dzhioev and Pliev, as well as the authorized representatives of the party "Raestag IR" were the latest who had submitted applications to the CEC.
The Consular Section of the Russian Embassy in South Ossetia is preparing for organization the presidential elections of the Russian Federation in the territory of South Ossetia. As reported to IA "Res" by Consul of the RF Embassy Tamerlan Zasseev, the day of the presidential elections in Russia, on March 4, 2012, 12 polling stations will be opened for the Russian citizens in South Ossetia.
The Ossetian battalion is being formed as part of the 4th Guards military base in the Russian Federation stationed in the territory of the Republic of South Ossetia.
