During the last week the situation at the state border between the Republic of South Ossetia and Georgia has seriously worsened.
The Georgian authorities, misinforming the population that in some areas South Ossetia "a few hundred metres moved the border line deep into the Georgian territory," incite the residents of the settlements, bordering on South Ossetia, to provocations.

In Sochi, at this moment is being held a meeting of presidents of Russia and South Ossetia, Vladimir Putin and Leonid Tibilov. In the course of the meeting will be discussed various aspects of bilateral cooperation.
