He has reminded that in August last year, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed an order to sign an Agreement with South Ossetia on dual citizenship and on a simplified procedure for acquisition Russian citizenship by citizens of the Republic.

The ruling party "United Ossetia" supported the position of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, which voted for an appeal to the President of the Russian Federation on the recognition of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Lugansk People's Republic as separate , sovereign and independent states.

The Central Election Commission of South Ossetia approved the regulations on a working group to check the documents submitted to the CEC for registration of candidates for the post of president during the presidential elections in the Republic.

According to the press service of the Central Election Commission, the regulations was adopted at the ninth meeting of the CEC, chaired by the head of the Commission, Emilia Gagiyeva, which took place the day before.

The international food exhibition Prodexpo-2022, which was held from February 7 to 11, has ended in Moscow. More than 2.5 thousand participants from 73 countries presented their products. The exhibition was visited by about 70 thousand people from 115 countries.
