Gennady Bekoev appointed Prime Minister of the country - presidential decree

President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov appointed on Friday by his decree Gennady Bekoev the Prime Minister of the Republic.

"In accordance with paragraph 5 of Article 50 of the Constitution of the Republic of South Ossetia, appoint Gennady Borisovich Bekoev Chairman of the Government of the Republic of South Ossetia," the decree of the head of state says.

This Decree comes into force from the date of its signing.

10 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in South Ossetia in a day

The number of detected cases of COVID-19 in South Ossetia over the past day increased by ten, 106 tests were carried out, South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee reported on Thursday.

"Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Republic, 3131 cases have been detected, 2645 citizens have recovered, 17 people have been removed from the register in a day," Anna Gagloeva, Deputy Head of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee, told IA “Res” .

She noted that 486 coronavirus infected remained under medical supervision.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko discussed with representatives of the EU, UN and OSCE the situation on the border of South Ossetia and Georgia, the Russian Foreign Ministry reports.
