The Government working group consisting of the deputy of RSO Prime Minister Taimuraz Chochiev, the Minister of Health and social development Nugzar Gabaraev and the Minister of Road-building Rudolf Tskhovrebov visited Kvaisa town of Djava district of RSO. The purpose of the visit was to meet district inhabitants to determine their problems and the ways of their solution. This was informed to IA «Res» correspondent by RSO Prime Minister press secretary Zarina Sanakoeva.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Murat Djioev received representatives of ECFR, a new pan-European initiative on research and advocacy, Mark Leonard and Nikolae Popescu. As Nikolae Popescu has informed «Res» correspondent their visit is of familiarization character.

The blockade of Ossetian villages conducted by the armed formations of Georgian force structures from 24 March to 6 April 2008 brought to Ossetian people human losses apart from acute shortage of foodstuffs, life necessities and medicines. Having been on the edge of humanitarian disaster, the inhabitants of Ossetian villages were deprived of medical assistance, what was noted with indignation even by Georgian ambulancemen.
