Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia has expressed condolences to the family of Russian diplomat Valery Loshchinin, who passed away on March 14 at the age of 83.

"The outstanding Russian diplomat and statesman, a retired Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary has died. The most important stages in the recent history of South Ossetia are connected with the name of Valery Vasilyevich," the Foreign Ministry's telegram of condolences reads.

South Ossetia is closely monitoring the processes taking place in Georgia, Chairman of the Parliament Alan Alborov noted in the comment to IA “Res”.
