The Days of Culture of the Chechen Republic will start in Tskhinval on Thursday. As IA Res has been informed at the Ministry of Culture, a delegation of Chechnya headed by First Deputy Minister of Culture Maret Baisarova arrived in the Republic.
The personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of South Ossetia has been transferred to the enhanced duty regime in connection with the events taking place in Georgia, Interior Minister Valery Gazzaev said at the press conference in Tskhinval.
“Yesterday, the operational meeting of the Security Council of the Republic was held by order of the President, during which such a decision was made. We, as one of the power units of the Republic, cannot fail to comply with the decision of the collegial body,” said Gazzaev.
