The operational situation on the South Ossetian-Georgian section of the state border is stable, there are no trends for its escalation, reports the State Security Committee of South Ossetia

"In order to timely identify and localize threats to security, the KGB is continuously monitoring the development of the internal political situation in Georgia through the available capabilities," the Committee's press service said.

Earlier, the power structures of South Ossetia were transferred to the reinforced version of service due to the protests taking place in Georgia.

Five cargo GAZelles of humanitarian aid for Ossetian fighters were delivered to the zone of the special military operation, Dzambolat Tedeev, a member of the North Ossetian Parliament, said at the press conference in Sputnik.

According to him, generators, quadrocopters, food, and essentials were delivered to the fighters.

“We need to support the guys who are fighting in the Donbass today; they are defending the interests of Russia and South Ossetia. If this is not done, then tomorrow this war will come to us,” Tedeev said.

"Culture has no borders": the opening ceremony of the Days of Chechen Culture took place in Tskhinval

The Days of Culture of the Chechen Republic in South Ossetia opened on Thursday with a performance of the play "Bela" based on Lermontov's novel "Hero of Our Time".

The performance was attended by Prime Minister of South Ossetia Konstantin Dzhussoev, a delegation of the Chechen Republic headed by First Deputy Minister of Culture Maret Baisarova, representatives of the ministries and departments of the Republic.

The guests were greeted by the Russian Ambassador to South Ossetia Marat Kulakhmetov and Minister of Culture of South Ossetia Rada Dzagoeva.
