Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak visited the stand of South Ossetia, deployed at the venue of the Caucasus Investment Forum in Grozny, Chechnya.

According to the press service of the government of the Republic, Prime Minister Konstantin Dzhussoev told Alexander Novak about the work of the South Ossetian stand and the presented projects.

On the sidelines of the Caucasus Investment Forum, a meeting began between the South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev and Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexander Novak.

The meeting is being held in a closed format, presidential press Secretary Natalya Bosikova said.

The parties will discuss issues of bilateral interaction within the framework of socio-economic cooperation between South Ossetia and the Russian Federation.

President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev arrived at the exhibition venue of the Caucasus Investment Forum (CIF-2024), opened on Monday in the capital of Chechnya, Grozny.

South Ossetia will present several projects at the Forum: the extraction and processing of natural stone, which is at the final stage; commissioning work is currently underway at the enterprise; products from a new cannery, which is also at the launch stage and will be produced on an industrial scale; wine, beer products, mineral water.

The event will be taking place over three days, from July 15 to 17.
