The Georgian side has thrown six KAMAZ with alive force to the georgian-populated settlement Avnevi, temporarily uncontrollable to the authorities of South Ossetia Republic. The correspondent of «Res» was informed about it at the press-service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of South Ossetia Republic. According to the available information, the Georgian military men have arrived to the settlement Avnevi today at 14:30pm.

The president of South Ossetia Republic Eduard Kokoyty has accepted the Head of the Mission of OSCE, the Ambassador Roy Riv. In the course of the taken place conversation a wide range of questions, connected with the present aggravated situation in the zone of the georgian-ossetian conflict, and the search of ways of overcoming of the crisis that has recently developed in the process of settlement of the georgian-ossetian relations has been discussed.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, expressing extreme concern, is compelled again to pay the attention of the international community to the absolutely inadmissible in conditions of the extremely intensed georgian-ossetian relations actions of the Georgian side, directed at putting rough pressure upon South Ossetia.

Already within a week hot weather keeps in South Ossetia, and in the course of five days Tskhinval remains without potable water. The reason of such situation is the deliberate damage of the sluice Edis-Tskhinval, passing through the Georgian villages, by the inhabitants of which are arranged illegal cuts for irrigation of their gardens and vegetable gardens.

In the night from May, 27th, for May, 28th, in the georgian-populated village Avnevi the two citizens of South Ossetia Republic, making their way on their own car from the ossetian village Mugut to the capital of South Ossetia Republic, Tskhinval, were stopped by the employees of the Georgian police. One of the citizens of South Ossetia Republic, Tamaz Bestaev, 25 years old, was brutally beaten, having received heavy physical injuries, brain concussion.

On May, 25th, 2007 during the period from 14.35pm till 15.50pm by the military observers from the three parties and the officers of the mission of OSCE was held a monitoring with the purpose of checking of the received by the Joint Staff of JPKF information about the wound of the inhabitant of the settlement Ergneti as a result of grenade explosion.

The Georgian side has made one more attempt of aggravating of the situation in the zone of the conflict. Earlier the Government of South Ossetia Republic had repeatedly openly informed about the construction of a roundabout road in Znaur region, that would allow the inhabitants of the region to move freely, and the Georgian party wouldn"t raise any official claims in this occasion.

The South-Ossetian part of JCC has sent the Georgian party a letter with the offer to hold the next session of JCC for discussion of the situation, having developed in the zone of the georgian-ossetian conflict. The co-chairman of JCC from the south-ossetian party Boris Chochiev has informed about it to the correspondent of «Res». To his words, in response the Georgian party has reacted inadequately enough.

The problems, facing today the mass-media of South Ossetia Republic, have become the point of issue at the meeting of the President of South Ossetia Republic Eduard Kokoyty with the management of the State committee on information and press, the editors of the state mass media and the state broadcasting company «Ir».

According to the decision of JCC « About the Joint Peacekeeping Forces » in the zone of the georgian-ossetian conflict (Protocol № 7 from December, 6th, 1994) the staff, having arrived on May, 21st in substitute for the Russian battalion from the structure of JPKF, has started the procedure of reception-transfer of the places of performance of duty, technical equipment and arms, as well as the housing stock and the objects of life support. The correspondent of «Res» was informed about it by the assistant of the commander of the Joint Peacekeeping Forces in the zone of the georgian-ossetian conflict on work with the mass-media, the captain Vladimir Ivanov.
