President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev met on Friday with deputies and the staff of the Parliament. The head of state congratulated those present on the occasion of the formation of the Parliament of the Republic, having noted that on December 9, 1990, a historic step was taken that changed the life of the South Ossetian people.
Parliamentarians of South Ossetia will take part in the III International Conference "The Role of Interaction between Factions of Political Parties and Blocs in Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation of the CIS Countries" in Moscow. Zaza Dryaev, head of the Committee on Foreign Policy and Inter-Parliamentary relations, told the “Res” news agency that representatives of all parliamentary factions, headed by Speaker Alan Alborov, would attend the conference.
The career school for young Russian compatriots contributed to the establishment of ties, the strengthening of friendly relations between young people from different countries and the exchange of experience, Alana Bikoeva, a forum participant from South Ossetia, told IA Res.
The forum was being held in the capital of Belarus - Minsk on December 2-6.
Ossetia is hosting the Alania 2022 international youth forum, the organizer of the event, Marwan Al-Dbeisi, told the “Res” news agency
He has noted that the Forum is being held as part of the Rosmolodezh grant competition, which it won in 2020.
“Last year, a ban was announced on cultural events due to the coronavirus, and we were unable to hold our forum,” Al-Dbeisi said. “We sent a letter to Rosmolodezh with a request to postpone the event for a year, since the grant is only one year from the date of its receipt.”
The recent visit by several artists of the North Ossetian ensemble "Alan" to the events of the so-called "provisional administration of South Ossetia" in Georgia was discussed at the meeting of the RSO parliamentary committee on national politics, culture, religion and the media.
According to the press service of the legislative body, the meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Committee Amiran Dyakonov.
Natives of South Ossetia living in Russia provided humanitarian assistance to the Ossetian servicemen in the Donbass. For the participants of the special military operation, they purchased several vehicles and night vision devices.
The initiator of the collection of humanitarian aid was the head of the Ossetian society of the city of Gelendzhik, Marat Tedeev.
Tedeev told the “Res ” news agency that this was the fifth humanitarian aid they had collected and sent to the Ossetian members of the special military operation.
The II Russian-Ossetian Forum has started in South Ossetia. The Forum participants are young people from Russia (including North Ossetia, Chechnya, the Luhansk and the Donetsk People's Republics), Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
The guests were greeted by First Deputy Prime Minister Alan Dzhioev. On behalf of the government of South Ossetia, he thanked the guests for participating in the Forum and wished them fruitful work.

Representatives of South Ossetia will take part in the Career School for young compatriots in Minsk, Svetlana Kotaeva, Сhairman of the Coordinating Council of Russian compatriots in South Ossetia, told Res.
“From December 2 to 6, representatives from two public organizations of Russian compatriots in South Ossetia - “Rossy” and “Union of Russian Citizens” will become participants in the Career School in Minsk. The guys will be given educational workshops, and they will also have a rich cultural program,” said Kotaeva.
