An athlete of the South Ossetian boxing school Guram Gagiev reached the semifinals of the European championship, Deputy Director of the school Irbeg Kokoev told the “Res” news agency.

More than 50 patients with COVID - 19 are being treated at the RMMC of South Ossetia

As of July 8, 51 patients with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID - 19 are being treated in the "red zone" of the Republican Multidisciplinary Medical Center of South Ossetia (RMMC), Eleonora Dzhioeva, the Republic's chief infectious disease specialist, told the “Res” news agency.

“Over the past day, three patients were admitted to the “red zone” of the medical center, one person was discharged with recommendations to continue treatment on an outpatient basis. 22 people are receiving oxygen subsidies. There is one patient in the intensive care unit,” said Dzhioeva.

Over 30 new cases of COVID-19 have been detected in South Ossetia in a day

34 people who were tested the day before in South Ossetia have been diagnosed with coronavirus, Marina Kochieva, head of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee told the IA “Res” on Wednesday.

“On Tuesday, 119 tests were carried out for coronavirus infection, 34 samples showed a positive result,” Kochieva said.

Nine patients were discharged from the "red zone" of the Republican Multidisciplinary Medical Center of South Ossetia (RMMC) in a day, 44 people with COVID-19 are being treated, the Republic’s chief infectious disease specialist Eleonora Dzhioeva told the IA “Res” on Tuesday.

“Over the past day, six people have entered the “red zone” of the medical center. 20 people receive oxygen subsidies. One patient was sent to a hospital in North Ossetia,” Dzhioeva said.
