A meeting with the OSCE, UN and the EU co-chairs is underway in Tskhinval

Negotiations within the framework of the Geneva discussions

On Thursday, the first meeting of the South Ossetian delegation this year with the co-chairs of the Geneva discussions on security in Transcaucasus is taking place in the capital of South Ossetia.

The international delegation has included the OSCE Co-Chair Viorel Moshanu, the EU Co-Chair Toivo Klaar, the UN Co-Chair Cihan Sultanoglu, the EU staff member Bjorn Kuehne, the OSCE staff member Siegfried Weber, the UN staff member Christoph Bierwirth and others.

South Ossetia sent another batch of humanitarian aid to the Donbass

South Ossetia has sent about ten tons of cargo with basic necessities and clothing to residents of Donbass and Ossetian fighters taking part in Russia's special operation in Ukraine, the Republican headquarters for the collection of humanitarian aid told reporters.

"The day before, a humanitarian cargo of more than 10 tons was sent to the Donetsk People's Republic - food, clothes for our soldiers and residents of Donbass, as well as baby carriages and toys for children," the representative of the headquarters said.

South Ossetia gave the last honors o the former employee of the Defense Ministry, perished during the special operation in Ukraine, a volunteer Roland Tskhovrebov.

The leadership of the Republic headed by President Alan Gagloev, former colleagues, relatives, friends, members of the public came to say goodbye to the hero, the presidential press service reports.

The words of deep sorrow to the relatives and friends of Roland Tskhovrebov were expressed by the head of state.

On Children's Day in Moscow, flowers were laid at the monument to the victims of the Beslan tragedy

The Embassy of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation took part in the ceremony of laying flowers at the monument to the victims of the Beslan tragedy on the square in front of the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Kulishki (Alan farmstead), the press service of the diplomatic department reports.

"The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Permanent Mission of North Ossetia-Alania under the President of Russia, representatives of the Ossetian public, the Moscow Ossetian community, as well as the public of Moscow," the press service said.
