South Ossetia and Venezuela will develop the cooperation in economic and bank sphere. It has been declared today, in March 25, at the meeting of the president of the Republic of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity and the plenipotentiary ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in RSO Hugo Jose Garcia Hernandez.
20 years have passed! They will never be forgotten in Ossetia!
In March 24 1991 the Georgians attacked the ossetian village of Helchua. They were burning the houses, raping the women, did not spare even oldsters and children, many inhabitants of this village are hitherto considered missed in action.
There were the marks of cruel violence on the bodies of the murdered; many of them had been cut off their hands and legs. Amongst them was Nina Bestaeva, the chairman of the committee of the perished families, the missed in action and the wounded, Zarina Tedeeva is recollecting. Zarina herself had buried her husband then. He was among the victims of Eredskaya tragedy, who were brutally killed by the Georgian gunmen in March 18 of the same year.
The State Duma ratified two intergovernmental agreements with Abkhazia and South Ossetia about mutual visa-free trips of their citizens. The Agreement with Abkhazia is signed in October 2 2009 in Sukhum, but the Agreement with South Ossetia – in 1 February 2010 in Moscow. Both documents provide visa-free regime of trips of their citizens by the period about 90 days both with the foreign passport, and with the internal documents.
Today the plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela mister Ugo Jose Garsiya Ernandes will arrive in the Republic of South Ossetia with working visit.
60 million roubles has been directed on the designing, heavy repair and reconstruction of the state historian-regional museum of South Ossetia. It has been reported IA "Res" by the press-service of the president and the government of RSO.
It has been noted that these means will be transferred within the framework of the Investment program for assistance of restoration of the Republic of South Ossetia in 2011.
1 milliard 100 million roubles will be pointed at realization of the state target programs in South Ossetia in 2011. In the course of time the policy of double standards will be condemned, and the actions of Georgia .and many other countries, which today play the role of «peacemakers", will be sentenced legally. This has been declared by the Plenipotentiary of the President of South Ossetia on questions of after the conflict regulation Boris Chochiev, commenting the events in Libya.
From the beginning of 2011 65 violators have been detained by the law-enforcement bodies for the illegal crossing of the State border between the Republic of South Ossetia and Georgia. This has been reported by the press-service of the Committee of State Security (CSS) of South Ossetia.
Soon the book of the well-known known South-Ossetan historian-documentalist Aleksey Margiev "The children of unconquered South Ossetia" will be issued. There will be the memoirs of the south-ossetian schoolchildren in the book about the terror, they outlived during the Georgian aggression 1989-1992 and 2008.
The seedlings of apples, grapes and plums are taken to the South Ossetia. How the chief of the Department of agriculture at the Ministry of economic development of RSO Dzhambolat Kozaev says, the seedlings will be given the farmers for five years under the goods credit facilities.
