On Monday, the State Security Committee of South Ossetia issued an appeal to the inhabitants of Georgia with a warning about the danger of the US biological laboratories located on the territory of this state.

"The KGB is appealing to all caring citizens of Georgia, patriots of their country with a request to inform us for prompt response:

- in relation to any information about the US biological and other weapons of mass destruction, located, stored or used in the regions of Georgia;

The leadership and personnel of the internal affairs bodies of South Ossetia provided financial assistance to the refugees from the Donetsk People's Republic evacuated to South Ossetia, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported. Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs handed over money to the citizens of the DPR and wished them peace and tranquility.

If we, together with Russia, do not defeat a bunch of neo-fascists who made Ukraine a Nazi reserve, the next target will be South Ossetia, said the current President of the Republic, Anatoly Bibilov.

On behalf of the Ambassador of South Ossetia to Russia Znaur Gassiev, the Embassy Adviser Zara Valieva and the trade representative of the Republic in Moscow Taimuraz Goginov took part in the International Economic Forum of the CIS member states in Moscow, the press service of the Embassy reported.

Foreign Minister of South Ossetia Dmitry Medoev met with the representative of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in the Republic of South Ossetia Vyacheslav Dzhabiev.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dzhabiev spoke about his participation in the first meeting of the Coordinating Committee of the Representative Offices of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly, the main topic of which was the discussion of the tasks and prospects for the development of representative offices for 2022, and also shared his vision of further joint activities.

In order to prevent the recurrence of those terrible events in the recent history of South Ossetia, we must unite and confront negative challenges together, Head of State Anatoly Bibilov said at the mourning meeting dedicated to the 31st anniversary of the Ered tragedy.

On the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the Ered tragedy, the Embassy of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation sent a press release to all diplomatic missions accredited in the Russian Federation, as well as to the Georgian Interests Section at the Embassy of Switzerland, dedicated to the criminal act of genocide against the peaceful Ossetian population on 18 March 1991.

"Every year on March 18, a mournful date is commemorated in South Ossetia, reminding us of the monstrous tragedy in the recent history of our people that occurred in March 1991.

South Ossetia will take part in the International Economic Forum of the CIS countries (IEF CIS) "Green Agenda in the CIS countries: cooperation in development" that opens on Friday. This was reported to the “Res” news agency by the Embassy of South Ossetia in Russia.

Sanctions against Russia will affect, among other things, South Ossetia, since both countries represent a single political and geographical space. The head of the South Ossetian state Anatoly Bibilov stated this live on Instagram.

“All products that we do not produce here in the Republic come to us only through the Russian Federation, and, without a doubt, sanctions against Russia will affect us. They are directed against the Russian Federation not because there really is a need for it, but in order to weaken it,” the President said.

The Round table #DonbassbeZgenocide” with the participation of students from South Ossetia, Abkhazia, Russia, Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics was held online on Thursday.

The event was organized by the center of youth diplomacy "Legatus" in Donetsk.

Its participants unanimously decided to send an open letter to the United Nations, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, the world's leading media and the entire world community calling for an end to the genocide in Donbas.
