A famous Ossetian opera singer, Honored Artist of South and North Ossetia Amaga Gotti (Irina Gotoeva) is invited as jury chairman of the II international festival-contest of Russian artists "Russian Song", which will be held in Alanya (Turkey), 16-19 May 2014.
As Amaga Gotti told IA "Res", an invitation from the organizers of the festival she received for the second time.
"For the first time, I also participated in this contest as jury chairman in March, 2013. Then my candidacy to the Director of the Russian Cultural Center in Alanya Katherine Gunduz was proposed by the "Agency of cultural and business communications," with which I have been working closely, "- she said.
This year, the singer plans to attract to the participation in the festival the young people of Ossetia
"If the Republican leadership and, in particular the Ministry of Culture, provide me support, it can be done," - said Gotti.
The contest is open to representatives of all countries and peoples, who must sing in Russian. Their skills may present soloists, duets and ensembles in three nominations - "Young talents" for children up to 17 years old, "Vocalists amateurs " - for children over 17 years old and "artists - professionals" for artists - professionals over the age of 17 years old, performing various styles of music. In the first two nominations will perform artists without vocational education in the following styles of music - jazz-vocal, folk vocal and academic vocal.
The main goals and objectives of the festival - to promote the popularization of Russian musical culture abroad, to support creative initiatives of Russians living abroad, as well as foreign nationals engaged in studying the Russian language and culture, and others.
The results will be declared at the awards ceremony during the gala concert.
The festival organizer is the Association of Russian Culture and Education in Alanya headed by Catherine Gundyuz, with the support of the Russian Embassy in Ankara, the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Antalya, the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States "Rossotrudnichestvo," Coordination Council of Russian Compatriots in Turkey, Governorship and Administration of Alanya.
Amaga Gotti is a winner of the international competitions in Italy and Milan. It should also be noted that outstanding performing skills earned Amaga Gotti a great deal of respect not only in Ossetia, but also abroad. She performs not only on the stages of the famous concert halls of different countries, but she is also actively engaged in popularization of high art.
