Commentary of Foreign Minister of South Ossetia David Sanakoev with regard to the speech of President Saakashvili at the PACE Winter Session.
President Saakashvili's speech at the Parliamentary Assembly was, of course, biased and prejudiced against South Ossetia and the Russian Federation. Actually, we have heard nothing new from the President of Georgia, but for the same rhetoric, which the Georgian leadership has been following for many years, and which led to the military aggression in August 2008.

These days is being held a visit of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II to Russia. In South Ossetia the attitude towards Ilya II is adequate to his attitude to South Ossetia. January 21, Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili made a speech at the PACE session. As usual, Saakashvili again unfairlysubjected Russia, South Ossetia and Abkhazia to criticism, calling on again to restore "the territorial integrity of Georgia."

This was reported by Presidential Envoy for post-conflict settlement Murat Dzhioev during a meeting of the President of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov with heads of the law enforcement agencies of the Republic. According to him, the delegation will include the co-chairs of the EU, the UN and the OSCE.
