A meeting between the President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev and the leader of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin will take place in Moscow on Wednesday, the press service of the head of the South Ossetian state reports.

"During the talks, the heads of state will discuss topical issues of bilateral cooperation between South Ossetia and Russia, issues of socio-economic sphere," the press service said.

The visit of President Alan Gagloev to Russia is of a working nature, the press service has specified.

These days will be marked the anniversary of the epoch-making events that affected geopolitical processes around the world, establishing a clear watershed from which the countdown of a new stage in international relations will begin, - said Yury Vazagov, head of the Information and Analytical Department of the South Ossetian Presidential Executive Office Yury Vazagov.
