South Ossetia will join the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production and Stockpiling of Bacteriological (Biological) and Toxin Weapons as well as Their Destruction of December 16, 1971.

The corresponding decision was made at the session of the Parliament of the Republic on Monday.

The draft law was submitted to the Parliament for consideration by the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Policy and Inter-parliamentary relations Zaza Dryaev.

South Ossetia and Russia are successfully developing trade, economic, investment and humanitarian cooperation, major joint projects are being implemented in various fields. This is stated in the congratulation of Mikhail Mishustin to Alan Gagloev, who is celebrating his birthday on Monday.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia, Akhsar Dzhioev, sent a note of condolences to Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of the Syrian Arab Republic, Mr. Faisal al-Mikdad, in connection with the tragic consequences of the earthquake in the SAR.

“Accept the words of sympathy and empathy for the tragic consequences of the earthquake in the north of the Syrian Arab Republic, which claimed the lives of more than a hundred people and caused large-scale destruction.
