Parliamentarians of South Ossetia will be observing the elections to the State Duma of Russia

Representatives of the South Ossetian Parliament as international observers will leave for Moscow on September 15 for the State Duma elections; a single voting day in Russia will be held from September 17 to 19.

On the invitation of the State Duma, the elections in Moscow will be observed by the first Vice-Speaker of the Parliament, Peter Gassiev, and the Chairman of the Committee on Budget and Taxes, Elena Dzhioeva.

More than 60 new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in South Ossetia

South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee, reported the data on the coronavirus disease recorded on Friday. As reported to IA "Res" on Monday by the head of the department Marina Kochieva, according to the results of the tests carried out from 271 samples, 62 (23%) showed a positive result.

"Currently, 738 people are under the supervision of doctors, 30 people have been removed from the medical register," Kochieva said.

Artists of the State Drama Theater of South Ossetia went to the festival in Grozny

On Monday morning, the troupe of the Kosta Khetagurov South Ossetian State Drama Theater left for Chechnya to participate in the Third All-Russian Festival of National Theaters "Federation".

As reported to IA "Res r" by the artistic director of the theater Tamerlan Dzudtsov,, the opening of the festival has already taken place on Saturday, September 11. The South Ossetian troupe will present "Julius Caesar" (directed by Tamerlan Dzudtsov).
